Always On Holiday began as a simple export venture.
I was studying Tibetan Buddhism in India and wanted to remain abroad.
In the process of cultivating relationships with local merchants in Rajasthan, India, I started to casually learn about gem differentiation and textile production. As my education expanded, so did my drive for becoming more involved with the creative process.
Always On Holiday jewelry is now made by my hand. I travel with my backpack full of wire and plyers. Ready to set up a workspace in any area big enough for me to sit cross legged. Each collection is a blend of trinkets and treasures that I collect throughout my adventures and is inspired by the nature and culture from in which it was born.
Although I travel with my beads, clothing production for Always On Holiday remains in Rajasthan, India. There is a tremendous amount of visceral beauty relayed into a garment made with slow hands. In India, the unique heritage techniques that are used to make clothing create a distinct and memorable style. One that is embedded with tenderness and diligence. From material to production, AOH clothing is mindfully made and sustainable. Each collection celebrates native handmade fabrics and slow fashion. All collections are designed with the intention to create a story of culture through material.
It is an honor and pleasure to be able to share my travel experiences through Always On Holiday and give access to rare and enchanting goods from around the world.
